It is disturbing to read political leaders issuing directives and making them laws on how the citizenry should dress or behave in public. The factors taken into consideration for making the rules were based on morals of decency. The problem here would be decent according to whom? How does one define decent dressing in a multi-racial, multi-cultural environment? We in Malaysia have lived side by side peacefully for 'donkeys' years because we respect one another's culture and belief.
In America they have the freedom of speech where one is allowed to say almost anything he or she feels like it. We don't do that here because we take into account the sensitivities of our fellow citizens who might get hurt from what we say or do. As someone said, "Your freedom to swing you hand ends where my nose begins." And so we have lived and progressed this far.
Lately we have been hearing from people who seem to live in a different time zone from ours. They speak about championing their race, their religion and their language as if all others don't matter and need no mentioning. They even have begun telling us how to dress! These people are trying to get political mileage by using the race and religious platforms without realising the damage they are doing to the peaceful working relationship we have in this land.
There is enough killing and suffering in this world. Do we need to jump into that wagon also? What's with this Menteri Besar of Kelantan? Look at what he said, “It is an Islamic ruling, so nobody should undermine or question it." Such a dangerous statement which can only be made by religious leaders who hide behind their holy books to avoid discussion. It's almost like he is afraid of losing the state in the next election so he is trying to pull in some extra votes from the fanatical Muslims in that already backward state.
Why can't we agree to disagree? We need to take a closer look at the politicians who run for office at the next election and vote wisely if we want to have a better future for Malaysia. As for me, I say to each his/her own.

The recent Umno assembly has seen the rearing of many ugly heads. It is no wonder why Newsweek magazine labeled Umno as 'a seething snake pit'.
There was a glorious display of damning, hissing, swearing, and unsheathing of the keris against imaginary enemies.
The fact that Badawi his people have taken upon themselves to demonstrate such extremism, reflects not only gross immaturity, but hatred for all non-malays.
These Umno-malays have shown their true colours. Non-malays have always suspected this and the recent theatrics have confirmed it. There is no room for love from any non-malay.
A poor bumi will always be a poor bumi. Unlikely to be in the company of the Umno-malays who have grabbed all the wealth from you. See for yourself when they pass by in their voluptuous Mercedes.
Strong words have been spoken at the Umno meet which are difficult to obliterate. All that is ugly in Umno has been exhibited with no holds barred - bias, bigotry, discrimination and hatred.
In Indonesia, there are Indonesian Muslims, Hindus, Christians. In west Asia, there are also Arab Muslims, Christians, and even Jews. But in Malaysia, malays must be Muslims to be called malays.
Religion especially Islam, is very effective in controlling the thoughts and minds of a people, and makes it easy to govern them.
However, still most Muslim malays are such a embarrassing and disappointment themselves by practising intense racial sentiment. Very very very few are open minded, and most of these good hearted malays are from educated priviledged and motivated background.
Too sad the leftover Muslim malays are hypocrite rubbish and will always be rubbish.
It is easy to blame malays (for whatever issue) since there are just too many examples out there for the minorities to exploit. Yes that holds some truth to it, so let us forget about the useless racist uneducated malays. Let us examine the 'smart' malays, the new breed malays.
When a smart malay who had the opportunity to get great education (e.g. from Oxford), uses racial sentiment which is a very cheap way to get around pleasuring own's nipples across the political arena, is not that another example of typical malay? Just that in this example it involves a new breed malay, the smart one.
Again, I am rude but these are real.
Every single person born in this Malaysia should have the same equal rights.
If the Muslim community want to respect Islam, they should give the right and protection to the non-Muslims. Not the other way round. For Islam is fair and is beautiful. It is the racist card players who changed the rules and adopted racism as part of their agendas.
It is not true that outside Malaysia the migrants have lesser rights than those living in Malaysia. This is a fallacy and you know it. Migrants (non-malays) are mistreated in Malaysia more than in other countries - go check your facts.
Umno racist sympathizer yet trying to sound reconciling - no constructive comments - all sound as if Umno racist is the one that deserve the chance and have the ability to fix……….all others opposition party are useless!
You expect us non-malays to just accept unfair justice, racism or corruption for 50 years and keep quiet about it? Thank God, he did not create robots. Humans are retaliate, free to belief and choose - ask Umno racist to do its best to block freedom - watch the fall out!
The world is looking at Malaysia - the decision is simple and against human freedom will have to face the world and God too……….one day!
As many have correctly pointed out, Malaysia is the only place in the world where there is institutionalised racism (NEP defined apartheid).
I guess any person who has followed closely developments in Malaysia can already see the brain drain from our country……….so I will not elaborate.
For your information, a large pool of overseas talents and professionals are from Malaysia or were once Malaysians. I even have a fellow PhD colleague pioneering technologies for NASA at MIT, just because they gave him a scholarship. He was rejected straight away by UM of course.
At least in overseas, talents are valued, appreciated, and given a fair go as opposed to the semi-oppressive and exploitative nature of NEP (and its spin offs).
Equal rights for every citizen of Malaysia and that is how it ought to be. The malays seem never enough to be satisfied with they have - such an inferior race with lack of intelligence.
The Malays, Indians and Chinese fought for independence from the British together. Malaysia is born from the strength of Malays, Indians and Chinese. In Indonesia or America, they obtained their independence in a different way. So please don't compare with the rest of the world.
History teach us that the first inhabitant of Malaysia came from China Yunan. The malay originated from the Polynesia. Malay history start from Parameswara who escape from Indonesia and settle in Melaka. During his time, Laksamana Cheng Ho visit Melaka seven times.
Melaka need the protection of the China from the invasion of the Siamese. Without Cheng Ho, there won't be malay history, instead you have Siam history.
Mass influx of Indians and Chinese was during the rule of the British. That was before the creation of Malaysia. Today we have Malaysia, who can claim to be 'tuan'?
God save all of us.
Indeed the real bumis are the Orang Asli, they too are migrated from other places many many hundred years ago!
By the way, if Islam is so tolerable, strong and beautiful, why in Malaysia apostasy is not allowed? If this is a worry, then it only shows how weak Islam is!
I pity Malaysian Muslims, you probably are the least free people in this world! Even Indonesian Muslims are allowed to practice apostasy when they become adults!
USA, UK, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, etc - what make them different from Malaysia?
Why are they successful, well most importantly they practised meritocracy system and secondly they don't have law that discriminate against skin colors or religions or minorities.
Sorry facts are facts. Sorry in spite of all, you malays still cannot compete. By the way - you are so wrong that we Chinese do not look towards China.
Where there is money to be made, and where we can improve other Chinese well being be it Malaysian Chinese, Hong Kong Chinese etc, we are looking towards it. You bet. The next world is not Malaysia, a tiny little dot in this world.
Where opportunities exist, we look elsewhere just like Singaporeans they are going everywhere.
Today my son asked me an embarrassing question: Dad, what is a bumi?
I was embarrassed and told him: A bumi is someone who is always right. He was puzzled and asked me candidly: But if he says that 2 + 2 = 6, he should be wrong, shouldn't he?
I told him from my working experience in Malaysia, my son when you are non-malay and Malaysian, you will have to agree for that and even worst and smile. If you dare to argue you will be gently destroyed and degraded in your human dignity.
Whatever is your social position, situation or grade, any bumi even from the remotest kampung, even a mentally disabled bumi will always be right.
And when I grow up what will happen? If you work in public service, you will work for them and see them being promoted and driving huge cars. If you work in private sector, you will have to let them warm their chairs and see them living in peace. As a senior staff, you will have to treat and applause complete arrogant idiots enjoying their mediocrity.
Then he asked, is there many bumi in the world? I told him that in South Africa 30 years ago and in Germany on the late 1930s there were some sorts of them. The last bumi are here.
I told him, do not worry son, you will not have to go through 2 + 2 = 6 always right losers, you will be Australian.
Johor Umno-malays said it had adversely affected tens of thousands of bumi students in the rural areas who had been denied quality education in view of the "uneven competitive field".
Surely, the answer is not to lower standards for university admissions but to raise the standards of the rural schools. Provide them with the resources to improve their standards.
Who is responsible for education? The Barisan government! The minister should blame his own government for this state of affairs. He should insist that spending should be cut in other areas, such as white elephant, showboat buildings etc, and redirect the money to education.
Lowering the standards only produces lower quality products. So the minister wants to get poor quality products into the universities.
What will be the result - unemployed graduates who were misled to believe that their lower grade qualifications would be a passport to a good life.
It is the usual answer of the Barisan government to always to look for the easy way out whenever faced with a problem. Instead of looking at the problem in the face and taking the correct remedy, even if difficult, the government always is afraid to bite the bullet.
Rather, the government chooses the easy way by moving the goal posts to make life easy for itself but to the future detriment of their constituents.
The people get the government they deserve if they continue to put such people in office.
In the globalize world, it is amazing that there still exist segregation, enjoying all kind of free subsidies, while their fellow brothers and sisters have to pay their own way.
Be like me, never buy or even bother reading Malaysia newspaper. Who cares anyway? Each year more and more experts from Malaysia emigrating to other countries leaving morons behind. That is the fact.
To me, I think there is never an issue or question whatsoever to have good Malaysian students (malays or non-malays) in the UiTM or UTAR or whatever. They should be admitted because they are good students and by being present there, they will serve to improve and increase the quality and standard of education in these institutions. World-class higher institution of learning takes many decades to become one.
Race is never an issue here. I think only these BN based politicians would like to "cooperate" from times to times to highlight the issue.
It is sad for someone who is an academician has this kind of mentality. The nation cannot prosper with this archaic thought.
Wake up! I pity PM Badawi, he is better off hiring some zookeepers for his administration.
To me, Ketuanan Melayu is the false notion of malay greatness or malay supremacy. Truth is - there is nothing to associate the malay race with greatness.
By any widely accepted standards, it will be obvious to see that the malay race does not quality to be called one of the great races of this world. Truth is that the Chinese and Indians have a culture accomplished far greater and much more than these jokers have.
It should be Chinese and Indian supremacy in Malaysia. The only reason why malays have power in Malaysia is because they have the biggest population, and the racist rhetoric of the malay Umno politicians always sway the malay vote towards themselves.
Anyway, back to the untrue notion of Ketuanan Melayu. Let us see what malays have accomplished. Has any malay won the Nobel Prize - no. Has any malay been nominated for the Nobel Prize - most probably not.
By contrast, numerous Chinese and Indians have won the Nobel Prize and various other awards. The Chinese and Indian diaspora is widely recognized as two of the three most successful diasporas in history, the other being the Jewish diaspora. All over the world, Chinese and Indians have become successful artists, CEOs, doctors, filmmakers, scientists, writers, etc, etc.
Name one malay who is widely recognized around the world in his or her field. The only malay whose name might be recognized out of this country is Mahathir, and he is part Indian. Is malay culture recognized as a world renowned culture - no.
Malay culture, if cultures were ranked, would be close to the bottom. What is their culture compared to the great Chinese and Indian cultures that are centuries old and really rich! The Chinese and Indians have a 5000 years old history during which China and India have played a very important part in world history.
Nobody knew about malays until the Indian kings of south India first came here. That is why the oldest archeological remains in Malaysia, in Lembah Bujang, are Hindu temples.
The malay sultanate itself was started by a Hindu - Parameswara. And even at the height of its power, the Malacca sultanate was nothing more than a vassal of the Chinese emperor.
Have any malay architect designed anything worthwhile - no. Have any malay author won the Booker Prize or the Pulitzer Prize - no. Have any malay filmmaker won an Oscar - no. Have the malays achieved anything in sports - no.
Chinese and Indians have achieved all this. So there is no real Ketuanan Melayu. It is a fiction concocted by racist stupid politicians to keep the "kampung malays" happy thinking that they have had a glorious past.
They don't. Their history isn't worth mentioning. You would never find a mention of malays or Malaysia or Tanah Melayu in most books of world history while entire chapters are devoted to the history of China and India.
The discriminative constitution and law of Malaysia is just a recognition of this fact. The malay leaders and to every single malay knows that on a level playing field, the malays will never be able to compete with the Chinese and Indians.
As to the discussions, I can see some hatred in it but then none of it was untrue. I think most Malaysians have done a good job maintaining harmony and peace, but I can see how and why some may be pushed to hatred because of all the discrimination that goes on.
I mean come on, the discrimination towards non-malays is so wide-ranging that I am sure some people will feel robbed.
How do you think a Chinese or Indian student feels when he has worked his ass off to study for STPM and gets excellent result and then sees his malay friends who didn't work as hard and get as good result fly off to the England, Japan, USA etc, under JPA scholarship!
How do you think a Chinese or Indian contractor feels when his superior contract bid loses out to an inferior bid by a malay company!
What is going on in Malaysia is wrong. We should work towards creating a pure meritocracy, because history has shown that only meritocracies prosper and survive. It seems now that the Chinese or Indians don't even get fair representation in legal matters, as illustrated by the Moorthy case. Things need to be changed before bad things start to happen.
Many malays don't like to admit it, but once upon a time, they were not Muslims like everyone else!
Malays were part of the migration of Polynesian peoples whose original home was Yunan in China to South-East Asia in what is known as Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia……….
At that time the Orang Asli were already well settled in the malay Peninsula, so that makes them the most legitimate of the bumis.
Malays were animists then for hundreds of years until Indians crossed Bay of Bengal to South-East Asia and spread Indian and Hindu culture to the peoples there.
Hence we had the great Hindu kingdoms which later also became Buddhist kingdoms of Srivijaya, Majapahit, Langkasuka - but main thing to note is that racially the peoples were malays and speak old malay language.
Islam only came to South-East Asia from 1400 after foundation of Malacca by Parameswara. Again from India crossed Bay of Bengal and spread Islam to South-East Asia. Malacca sultans were among the first converts and the rest is history.
Please note that the malays have been Muslims for only 600 years and have been Hindus/Buddhists very much longer - at least 2000 years. Malay culture is very much influenced by Hindu culture including Sanskrit words like the wayang kulit, raja, maharaja, etc.
Unlike Javanese, who are proud of their Hindu/Buddhist past reflected in great empires like Srivijaya and Majapahit, malays are generally ashamed to dwell on their pre-Islamic Hindu/Buddhist past.
On the contrary some malays try to be like the Arab wannabes, trying to cleanse the malays of their Hindu/Buddhist past - in this even the songs and films of P Ramlee become victimized!
If Islam had not come to South-East Asia, malays would still be Hindus/Buddhists like the Balinese which is not a bad idea as Balinese are considered very peaceful people.
Our Chinese is being abused and stupidly handing out money for the lazy people. We work hard and save money in bank but the bank give us 3-6% interest, that is way too low if compare to Australia and US.
Nevertheless, the malays can invest in government assisted fund and get 8-12% increment. What an unfair practice. We have no choice but to emigrate to others country in order to enjoy higher benefits and returns.
Malaysia will no progress and lastly became a less develop country.
Malay leaders in Malaysia like to see their folks contained in a chicken coop. They tell them that they are free and yet to be beholden to them as they are the ones providing them their feed.
They even believe that if they left the coop, they might be eaten up by the wily fox, and that they might otherwise starve to death.
The Singapore malays is in no illusions and they know they are out of the coop. They got to find their own nourishment and they got no leader throwing in the crumbs to them.
If they don't want to labour for their food, they can always go across the causeway and be given citizenship rights and take advantage of all the crumbs thrown at them. But most of them will not.
Of course the chicken shit from there have all long crossed over. But the rest have a little more dignity and stay on to show what they are really made up of.
I respect the Singapore malays for that. It does not matter that they have made a lot of wrong turns or that they have hardly a fighting chance. But they got more respect and dignity than their kinsfolk from over here Malaysia.
This is what half-past-six ministers that we have in Malaysia. Even comparison between Singapore malays and Malaysian Chinese, Singapore malays are never discriminated by their government based on equality.
I have so many Singapore malay friends from school mates, college mates to business partners. Penang malays would be so glad if they are treated like Singapore malays. Just ask the Singaporeans……….do they want to be back to Malaysia?
The problem with the Malaysia malays is their jealous attitude. If they are left behind, they will prevent others from moving ahead too! And sometimes even sabotaging others, and some resort the use to cast spell on others.
Not only the laid back malays are preventing their own people from being successful, but other races too. We also want the malays to be successful by creating value in the society so that everyone benefit but not by taxing the non-malays then give contracts to the malays, who will then deliver half-past-six service.
Change your own attitude first through value creation using your own tears and sweats!
As said before, had Malaysia been managed by Lee Kuan Yew and his colleagues for the past 40 years, Malaysia would have been much better off today, including all the malays! 95% would have owned a house, and no such rampant corruption!
For the malay ultras, facts speak louder than your bigotry cries, wake up, grow up, be men instead of sissies!
You see the problem here - the malays just cannot face up to their main problem - laziness. This shows how thick-skinned and self-deluded these people are.
Malaysia is a multi-racial country. Jika kamu tak suka, kamu boleh blar……….tiada orang larang kamu.
The fact is malays you are the biggest loser! I am trying to wake you up instead of using the way like what our government is practice to provide NEP even though it is proven NEP is a failure in the past 30 years. Keep on dreaming if you think Malaysia could achieve Vision 2020 with your kind of attitude!
Majority of the Penang big government contracts is being awarded to the malay firms. What else you want! They get the same as other malays in Malaysia. The only different in Penang is, the Umno guys cannot tap the government fund into their own pocket, as other state Umno did. This is the main reason why they raised this issue.
Speaking without substances and distorting facts seems to be the good old habitual ways of Malaysia malays, which is probably inherited by their much loved masters, the "malay killers" - Umno.
To add to this, constant distorted facts with regards to the situational state of the Singapore malays remains among the commentators of Umno. It is hard not to see that some people really need to see the situation and know it first hand before dishing out their empty vessel mentalities.
Anyways, good thing you be it Malay, Indian, Chinese in Singapore is open to competition, and cherish diversity. Not like the radical son of terrorist we can find many in Malaysia.
Most malays in Malaysia hate diversity and discontent to the minorities, especially the Chinese. In blog, radical malays can be either extreme or pretentiously diverse-minded. Very few is genuine.
I do admit there are lazy malays that depend on handouts, but this kind of malays will be phase out and this kind I would say hypocrite. They tend to claim they work hard to achieve success, in fact they relaying on government support. I myself despise this kind of human being.
Little do they realize this safety net is fast disappearing because the government is finding it increasingly difficult to maintain the system in the face of global challenges! But these handouts have become an addiction. Refuse the junkie and you get booted out of power.
It is the malays themselves that must come to realize the damaging side effects of the NEP. For someone who wants no better than to see his own race succeed, this must be painful.
And you can often see the malays are usually envious of not only the non-malays, but of their own successful malays as well.
Malays failed is a fact. What make non-malays not happy about their failure is, they fail despite get ample help from the government.
And they continue putting the blame on their fail to, especially the Malaysian Chinese. This is why created so many issue and argument here.
But those greedy Umno guys keep emphasis the NEP, how many percent of the country wealth belong to malays. In fact, those Umno guys having super good life by easy way.
And they keep on demanding, not really review what was wrong with it, putting the blame to non-malays, to stir the racist sentiment in the country.
If present situation continue, even the malays get 60% of the country wealth, majority of the malays will still munch.
Simple solution - come to Singapore and see for yourselves even if you want to guise that our Singapore malays are in lesser numbers on success than the Malaysia idiotic counterparts - our Singapore malays are based on merit and not on such keris wielding Umno policies……….are you proud of that?
Once again, in a subtle and indirect manner, this forum has proven how naive and "katak bawah tempurung" a Malaysia malay can be. Blame who? The Umno policies.
Yes, start collecting the achieves with regards to moral degradation among Malaysia malays. Look at the Umno ministers when they speak on national TV. Qualify or not become ministers with such low reactive capabilities?
Some Malaysia malays saying Singapore malays quota should be more in the Singapore cabinet if compared to the Indians. First, Singapore government is based on merit system and not like you bunch of racist morons here. That is why Malaysia is so backward if compared to Korea and others.
Not many Malaysia malays can survive if they go oversea because they are slow and lazy and that is why they can't compete with the competitive market out there. Normally they will end up hiding their head in Malaysia with the protection and biased system by the Malaysia government.
Come on, man. We do not have time to argue the truth of your on and on talk about "not all malays are spoofed, not all malays are lazy". Like we are dying to argue that when we already know it is true.
It is human nature to blame everyone about their plight rather than blame themselves. The majority of new generation of malays in Singapore is educated, unlike their parents.
Please read the comments made by Singapore malays why they can hold their heads up and be proud as a Singapore malay and then maybe it will sink into you.
Muslims everywhere unless they are the minority, cannot tolerate people with different religions. The Singapore government handles the situation rather well as they handle their malay community with kid gloves.
Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim nation, can teach Malaysia a thing or two about religious tolerance.
I stayed at a 5-stars hotel in Jakarta recently. On the main buffet breakfast table they serve beef bacon and chicken sausages. But on a side table, they have pork bacon and chicken sausages.
A hotel of the same chain in Kuala Lumpur does not give you a choice. What more is there to say?
Exodus of Malaysia professionals simply means outflow of monetary capital as well as human capital.
The winners of this scenario are the smart countries like Singapore, Australia and the US. By maintaining the good governance of the country, making it safe, clean and having equal opportunity for all to develop their potential to the fullest, they are able to skim off the cream of our country in terms of skill peoples, professionals and the capital.
Not every person could emigrate; the host country would pick and choose to ensure these emigrants are useful for them; unfortunately more often than not, these people are usually wealth creators or productive peoples who are actually badly needed by our own country.
Once these people are already out, it would be very difficult to get them back simply because we no longer could afford to get them back. These people include non-malays and malays simply for economics reason.
The economics force seeks to its own equilibrium like water flows to a lower point and man tries to go to the highest point. All the money, legal or illegal flow to this heaven perceived to be safe and the nearest one is Singapore.
Though there is ample of land in Australia, yet the property prices shoot rocket high because it is perceived as one of the few safe places in the world that one's generation could live well.
That makes the cost of migration heavy this day. The earlier one could migrate the better he would be. After all, the ringgit is shrinking day by day. In that sense, we already lose points in this competitive globalize market in securing useful productive people.
For an individual migrant, he is also a winner. Take an example of a family of three kids which emigrated to Australia in 1990. The price of the property has gone up five to six times. At the end of the day, the family has gained:
1. The children are PR automatically and enjoy equal employment opportunity with the Aussies in an income of 1:10 ratio compared to their counterparts in Malaysia.
2. Saving over a million ringgit in education fees over the three kids who are now professionals trained up by the Aussie land.
3. No doubt income tax is high, but one is guaranteed with unemployment benefit, medical and educational facility just in case.
Economics reasons dictate everything and forget about the patriotism. Just don't make people laugh!
We had sometime ago this Malaysia politician caught in the Brisbane carrying bags full of millions money trying to snatch properties there, and one prominent lady politician also was (not sure is still is) PR of Australia.
These so-called leaders are actually busy striping off country assets and busily shipping them to places like Singapore or Australia. They don't really care for the people but their own pockets, and when this is challenge by the people, the racial card is frequently produced to shut the people up.
How many times we have been threaten by the saying of the infamous keris wielding, May 13 and disturbance of hornet nest!
At least the emigrants and their descendents are earning honest money and contributing national building, to their host countries simply because they are grateful to them. They don't waste time in arguing how to divide a shrinking cake like in Bodohland.
To those who are qualified to emigrate, the destiny is at your own hand, make your choice. It is entirely your own right to seek a better place for you and your family in this world.
Our current malay generation is racist now because they desperately want to hang on to privileges which I frankly believe it slowly causing the malay race to rot away and become a pathetic race on crutches dependent.
I think that malays are the most stupid idiots on earth - they might have big sized bodies bud in their heads, but they have puny brains.
Thus coming to the conclusion that they are the most stupid black blocks on earth - they are coloured black and stink like a garbage dump.
Does malays ever think twice about their religious? What if yours believe is not what you think!
You malays will rape anybody just for sexual pleasure. You didn't read about the malay who raped his own sister?
Not only that! They yell 5 times per day and expect to go to heaven! After committing so many sins like steal, rape, killing!
Malays are so stupid that deserve to be robbed by their own government. They in fact deserve to be raped as well. May be we were better off as British rule Malaysia after all.
Malays are jealous of Chinese, that is why they hate them. Americans are not jealous of Chinese, because they don't need tongkat. They buy a lot of Chinese goods. If they hate, they would have boycott the products. Bodoh!
Oh! Bodoh! Only blind man needs tongkat.
If Americans don't hate the malays, why is there so much bad press against Mahathir when he scolded the Americans? You malays are brainless and never read the newspaper. Everyday special rights here and there……….still like your tongkat so much!
You go to American embassy and see which country now is blacklisted? Did they blacklist Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong?
Even the Japanese look down upon the malays because they are just a bunch of lazy, fool, corrupt person who feed on the Chinese income tax for their existence.
The malays want to produce as many pig babies as they want, but doesn't teach them what is honesty, hard working, civilisation!
Bumi equity ownership numbers have been revealed for what they really are. A staggering 45% says the report by Asli which seems rather well-referenced.
I looked up the numbers provided by Asli, and they are, well accurate. And looking at the massive wealth accumulated by the malay (primarily Umno) politicians and their families, it is quite clear where that 45% is.
Policies like the affirmative action for the malays is only going explode in a matter of time. And the longer the duration, the more painful the fall. That is the fate that is to befall my kind.
The non-malay (mainly the Chinese and Indians) population will slowly find greener pastures abroad (that is already happening).
The policy then falls flat as you have much less contributors but many more recipients. And the malays will be left with not much but a very beggar type mentality.
Along the years, I have met up with more than a handful of those who share my views about the future of the race, both here in the US and back home.
Well, it is time for us to salvage this situation. You can do that by voting the heavily-corrupted Umno out, by voting for an independent candidate in the next general elections.
We have to act now for even foreigners are starting to see the picture as clearly as I do.
Say no to the bumi policies. Say no to the corrupt politicians who only seek to enrich themselves. Say no to these corrupt politicians who stay in power by playing the racial card. Say no to the fanatics who play the religious card. Say no to the self-destruction.
Staying here in the US for as long as I have, I appreciate the positive things of this country which are really quite plentiful.
I believe in freedom of speech, I believe in meritocracy, I believe that government should be accountable and transparent, and I believe in a secular state.
So it is time to act and you and I can play a part right now by voting for the independents, and voicing the need to remove the bumi policy, which is a surefire way to self-destruction.
wah! so many angry people who are upset over the racial policies and also the NEP used by the government. I am not sure if all of you are in Malaysia.
The first thing to highlight is the number of people who do not agree with the NEP is far less than the people who voted and are rooting for it. This is fact.
We are not going to change anything other than release a bit of stress and tension by blogging. The initiative to remove this racial policy must come from the Malays themselves.
When they have reached the state of enlightenment to see that they do not need such a policy and that they can compete with anyone, then only and only then can we see some positive changes to our society.
This one is for vesewe : Are you refering to Iggy (from MU , class of '79) when you mentioned a Phd friend in NASA?
